Developing & Teaching Information Literacy in School Library Media Centers

The Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc. conducted a seminar-workshop on the theme “Developing and Teaching Information Literacy in School Library Media Centers” last January 27, 2012 in the Information Resource Center of the C&E Bookshop at Quezon Avenue (beside Hi-Top supermarket), Quezon City.

We would like to thank C&E Publishing for their wonderful assistance and accomodation of this event.  Also, our heartfelt gratitude to ABS-CBN Film Archives (c/o Ms. Mary and Sir JR) for finally accommodating all 74 school librarians for a tour of their facilities.  The success of this project is partly due to the superb support of both institutions.

PASLI would also like to thank the 74 participants who attended and learned a lot from the event. It is every school librarian’s prayer to be able to effectively deliver information services to their students.
