The Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc.(PASLI), in collaboration with International Association of School Librarians(IASL) -Southeast Asian Region will conduct a Regional Workshop-Conference with the theme:
“School libraries establishing linkages towards 21st century literacy and development”
on April 24-26, 2019 at Century Park Hotel, 599 Ocampo St, Malate, Manila.
The seminar-workshop aims to enable the school librarians to:
- respond to the demands of the 21st century learning;
- support the school in developing 21st century skills;
- harness the school’s social media literacy skills;
- share innovative practices among librarians within the Southeast Asian region;
- promote Philippine culture and history.
Registration fees will cover attendance to the conference, food: snacks, lunch, and fellowship dinner on Day 2 only, conference kit, certificate, and other administrative expenses. No lunch included on the third day.

Arrangement A: Conference Plus Hotel Stay-in
Arrangement A.1—Complete Conference+2-night Hotel stay+Food: USD 155.00 — The registration fee will cover a 2-night hotel accommodation in Century Park Hotel w/ breakfast, attendance to all PASLI conference and IASL Workshop for 3 days, AM/PM snacks, lunch on day 1 and day 2 of the conference, fellowship dinner on day 2 of the conference, conference kit, and certificate of attendance. Hotel check in is on April 24, 2019, 2:00PM and check-out is on April 26, 2019, 12:00PM.
Arrangement A.2–Regional Conference+1-night Hotel stay+Food: USD 100.00 — The registration fee will cover a 1-night hotel accommodation in Century Park Hotel w/ breakfast, attendance to IASL Regional workshop on April 25, 2019, plus AM/PM snacks, lunch on April 25, 2019 only, fellowship dinner, conference kit, and certificate of attendance. Hotel check-in is on April 24, 2:00PM and check out is on April 25, 12:00PM.
Arrangement B: Conference Only: (Participants are expected to find their own hotel accommodation.)
Arrangement B.1–3-day Complete Conference: USD 95.00 –The registration fee will cover attendance to the 3-day PASLI conference and IASL regional workshop, plus AM/PM snacks, lunch on day 1 and day 2 of the conferences, fellowship dinner, conference kit, and certificate of attendance.
Arrangement B.2–1-day Regional Conference: USD 70.00 — The registration fee will cover a 1-day attendance to the IASL regional workshop on April 25, 2019 plus AM/PM snacks and lunch on April 25, 2019, fellowship dinner, conference kit, and certificate of attendance.
